What’s worth knowing about the Beko BDIS38042Q bPro500?
Until now, Beko hasn’t had such a gutsy 45cm dishwasher – the specification is impressive. Here we have an energy class C – the dishwasher consumes 59 kWh per 100 ECO cycles, or about £45. It needs 8.9 litres of water on the same programme and operates at a volume of just 41 dB. It holds 10 sets and has typical dimensions: 81.8 cm high, 44.8 cm wide and 55 cm deep.
There is an automatic door opening at the end of the cycle to dry the dishes, we have an LED end-of-cycle indicator that shines to the floor, a 3-fold long programme shortening option and an all-steel compartment.
For cutlery, there is a third drawer that can be easily removed, we have an extra nozzle on the bottom for intensive washing, and under the middle basket we find two smaller nozzles instead of one larger one – they cover the rectangular dishwasher compartment better with water.
There are eight programmes: Auto, AquaFlex, 70-degree Intensive, Eco 50-degree, Glass 40-degree, short 30-minute, pre-wash and Quick&Shine – the shortest full wash and dry cycle.
We control the black touch panel and the hinges used in the dishwasher, are designed to hold the door with the front in any position. We do not have sliding hinges here, so the dishwasher does not fit IKEA furniture (an external hinge can be purchased).
